Garbage Crisis: Overflowing Landfills and a Polluted Yamuna
Uncollected garbage, overflowing landfill sites and untreated sewage continue to threaten Delhi's environment. Waste often accumulates in residential areas and drains, while sewage and industrial discharge pollute the Yamuna. Effective waste segregation, processing, sewage treatment and strict monitoring are needed.
